MEET THE CORDOVAN TOQUILLA STRAW HAT...
Made of 100% Fine Panama Straw that is finely woven of toquilla straw in two tones. Half is carefully handwoven in the natural Ecuadorian Toquilla straw; the other half is woven with individually dyed using a rich charcoal natural dye to create a rich onyx hue. Once the hat is woven and dyed, the crown is then hand-shaped by an artisan to create a traditional boater design with a popular Spanish-Cordovan design.
Delivering on our sustainable promise, every aspect of this hat is painstakingly handmade; setting it apart from factory-made hats. Made by human hands that have been practicing the art of weaving straw for generations and LOVE their craft.
What can you expect? A great quality, sturdy, and timeless Panama Straw Hat made of finely handwoven toquilla straw imported from Ecuador. As with any handwoven product, no two are alike. All hats are made in the same hue with different weaving patterns. Naturally, color lines and weaving patterns may vary.
Dimensions: 11 cm crown height and 7.5 cm wide brim.
Brim Style: Stiff modern brim (not floppy).
Materials: Made of 100% Fine Toquilla Straw.
Origin: Handwoven by fifth-generation artisans in Ecuador.
UPF Rating: 80+ (Superior)
Band: Comes with a layered natural Jute thin rope that is removable. The interior band is a 1.5" thick vegan leather band for all-day comfort and easy insizing if necessary.
Sizes: Available in S/M (53-56cm) and L/XL (57-60cm) which can be unisex sizes. For smaller sizes, less than 53cm, the hat can be adjusted by adding a hat insizer of 1-3cm. Please add a note to your hat order concerning size accommodation.
